Michele Cuthbert, founder and creative director of Baker Creative, was selected as a conference speaker for the Ohio Association of County Boards of Developmental Disabilities (OACB) Spring Conference.

“This conference offers comprehensive resources for professionals affiliated with the developmental disabilities field,” said Cuthbert. “I was honored to return as a speaker and vendor for my second OACB conference.”

Her session, titled “Using AI and Other Technologies to Reach Non-Traditional Audiences,” was part of the communications track and focused on the transformative role of artificial intelligence in helping communicators overcome language barriers with non-English speaking communities. Participants discovered strategies to assist in outreach efforts to those who may not have access to technology or cannot be reached using traditional methods.

The OACB Spring Conference provides “an unforgettable experience as we embrace dynamic transformations happening in the DD system with our theme ‘On the Move,’” according to the organization. The conference enabled attendees to “connect with peers, share innovative ideas and celebrate the progress made in the DD community.”
