Baker Creative founder and creative director Michele Cuthbert joined more than 2,400 alumni at the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses National Summit in Washington, D.C.,

An exclusive gathering designed to elevate the voices of America’s small business leaders.

The multi-day summit brought together a powerhouse lineup of innovators and industry icons — including investors from Shark Tank, Martha Stewart, and the Founder of Home Depot — alongside senior leadership from Goldman Sachs. Attendees participated in high-level discussions on the future of entrepreneurship, economic resiliency, workforce challenges, and the shifting landscape of small business growth.

As part of the Ohio delegation, Cuthbert engaged in meetings with U.S. Senator Bernie Moreno and Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted to address key issues affecting small businesses across the state. She also met with staff from Congresswoman Joyce Beatty’s office to share insights on the challenges and opportunities impacting Ohio entrepreneurs.

“The 10K Summit is a catalytic experience,” said Cuthbert. “Being surrounded by thousands of business owners who are powering local economies across the country is incredibly motivating. These conversations with policymakers and national leaders reinforce how essential small businesses are to innovation, job creation, and community impact.”

Cuthbert, a Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses alumna, continues to champion growth, strategic storytelling, employer branding, and economic development through Baker Creative’s award-winning work with companies across healthcare, banking, manufacturing, biotech, restaurants, horticulture, and more.
