Baker Creative wins national marketing award

Michele Cuthbert, founder and creative director of Baker Creative lwas one of eight women nationally selected to receive Chief Marketer’s ‘Market Like A Mother” Award in the agency category.


The winners are featured in the industry’s only editorial listing of outstanding female marketers who are leading their teams – and their families. “I am honored to be among the working moms recognized for successfully balancing the roles of business leader and mother,” said Cuthbert, the mother of a 4-year-old daughter, Grace.

Eight women representing brands also received the honor. The winners “are a testament to why we must shine a spotlight on working moms who are leading teams, running campaigns and chalking up more than a few wins at home as ‘mom,’” according to Chief Marketer.

Additionally, Cuthbert will be featured in the WCMH-TV “Mom Boss” segment scheduled for broadcast Feb. 28. During the program, host Monica Day talks with a local business owner and mother about the challenges and triumphs of navigating both roles.

Cuthbert is also the founder of The Office Mommy blog, which is written by and in support of working mothers and shares parenting, work/life balance and self-care perspectives and tips.
