Finance, Strategy and Operations Specialist
Steve has more than 20 years of experience in financial strategy, operational improvement, and transaction advisory, spanning private equity due diligence at KPMG to C-suite operating roles at high-growth consumer brands. As CFO and COO at Homage, a nationally recognized licensed sports and vintage-inspired apparel company, he oversaw Accounting, Finance, Operations, HR, IT, Real Estate, and Technology, driving internal process improvements and managing third-party relationships to support the company’s growth. He played a central role in shaping the company’s financial profile and scaling operations during a period of significant expansion, including implementation of an ERP, multiple debt and equity capital raises and a transition to a leading third-party printing and fulfillment company.
Prior to Homage, Steve was a Director at KPMG in the Transaction Services group, where he performed due diligence on potential investment opportunities on behalf of Private Equity firms. This background gives him a sharp lens for evaluating business performance, identifying value creation levers and preparing founder-led companies for successful outcomes.
Steve also serves on the board of JewishColumbus and is the founder of Ibex Strategies, a consulting practice focused on capitalizing on growth and profitability initiatives, exit readiness, and operational improvement for businesses in the lower middle market.
