Paris Leech, an administrative coordinator with Baker Creative, was selected to receive a grant from the Greater Columbus Arts Council (GCAC) 2024 Funds for Artists program to support her personal work through Z.Marie Designz as an independent artist.

The purpose of the grant program is to “assist artists with making new art, growing artistic skills, and marketing to a broader audience,” according to GCAC.  The grant program is open to working individual artists with an independent body of work. The award amount of up to $500 is designed to assist artists with the cost of materials, supplies and resources to create new work, professional development or learning opportunities, and/or marketing or promotional expenses.

As Leech noted on her artist site, “My work is a reflection of my soul — a journey of self-discovery, expression and connection.”

“Baker Creative is a business rooted in creativity, so I am delighted that Paris’ love of painting is being encouraged and supported by this grant from the Greater Columbus Arts Council,” said Michele Cuthbert, Baker Creative founder and creative director.
